WorldPulse Changelog
ActiveHytale • Latest version 0.3.0
Changelog version 0.3.0
Added
- Hunger-driven food searches for 20 configured native predator roles, with native navigation, bounded searches and local ecology notices.
- Population and breeding support for eligible natural map-marker and ambient-beacon fauna, while retaining pet, monster and scripted-encounter exclusions.
- Expanded
/wp inspectand/wp statsdiagnostics for foraging eligibility, hunger, activity and runtime cost. - Bundled WorldPulse logo resources.
Changed
- Preserved explicit foraging lists, empty lists, opt-outs and existing valid configuration during upgrades.
- Validated compatibility with eligible WildTale 5.2 wildlife and capture/taming transitions without modifying the external asset pack.
Fixed
- Corrected species labels and repeated ecology notices after hunting, travel and return to previously visited regions.
- Corrected native flock reservation accounting and fractional healthy spawn targets so valid refill slots are not rejected.
- Hardened growth, taming, unload/reload and shutdown persistence while preserving independent native model and stat changes.
- Refunded birth quotas and parental cooldowns after confirmed spawn failure or cancellation, with idempotent journal replay.
- Completed regional clearing of habitat and breeding state; bounded journal-tail repair memory instead of reading the full journal on each append.
- Isolated predator and spider template installation, validated changed layouts and restored the affected native template after rejected loading.
Changelog version 0.2.0
Added
- Automatic wildlife discovery through registered role metadata and resolved categories, including eligible mobs from other mods without per-pack species lists.
- Physical breeding and juvenile growth, using native young roles when identifiable or a scaled original model, with reduced young health and damage.
- Chat notices naming each affected species for decline, scarcity, recovery, hunting pressure, completed births and adulthood.
- Habitat-aware recovery, hunting pressure, demographic pacing and statistical recolonization from suitable neighbouring regions.
- Food relations learned from repeated predator-attributed kills, with local prey availability influencing future predator spawning.
/wp inspect <role>for eligibility, model/lifecycle capability, food evidence and native quota diagnostics.
Changed
- New configurations use a 4-day baseline recovery period. Existing valid settings are retained.
- Breeding and growth respect native quotas, flock sizes, pending spawns, parent cooldowns, habitat and collision clearance.
- World saves include ecology state, breeding bookkeeping, persistent young animals and learned food relations.
Fixed
- Hardened population and food persistence with committed journals, atomic checkpoints, restart replay and recovery past an unfinished final record.
- Isolated food-data failures so population checkpoints can still complete; invalid committed data and unsupported formats preserve original files.
- Preserved animal identity, health fraction and independent model/stat overrides during growth and taming transitions.
- Corrected spawn accounting and quota enforcement across regional boundaries and world save/restart transitions.
Changelog version 0.1.0
Added
- Regional wildlife populations: each 8 x 8 chunk region tracks the health of every wild species on its own
- Each player kill of a naturally spawned animal lowers that species’ health in that region
- Fewer animals of a depleted species spawn in that region; neighbouring regions keep vanilla spawning
- Populations recover on their own, from 10% to 90% in about 3 in-game days
- Covers land animals, fish and birds from every zone, wild predators included. Monsters, undead and animals from spawn markers are ignored
- Kills by other mobs, commands or the console do not count, and neither do animals spawned by commands
- Populations are saved per world and survive restarts
